Piperlongumine (from Piper Longum Root Extract) in Qualia Senolytic is an alkaloid found in many species of pepper plant, and found in abundance in the Asian long pepper plant (Piper longum), particularly in its root structure from which we source our piperlongumine. It is the only natural compound known to support a novel mechanism that helps manage senescent cells called oxidation resistance 1 or OXR1.*

Senactiv® in Qualia Senolytic is a patented blend of notoginseng root and chestnut rose hips. It has been shown to support exercise recovery and management of senescent cells in muscle. This provides an asset within our formula to help counteract the slow workout recoveries that are common with the human aging process.*

Olive Leaf Extract Oleuropein (a secoiridoid polyphenol) in Qualia Senolytic is found in high amounts within olive leaves. Our particular olive leaf extract is standardized for 40% oleuropein. A 2020 study showed that oleuropein supports the management of senescent chondrocytes—chondrocytes are the cells that create cartilage and support healthy joints (an area of our bodies which commonly experience noticeable negative aging symptoms).*

Milk Thistle Fruit Extract in Qualia Senolytic. The seed-like fruits from milk thistle (Silybum marianum) have been in Mediterranean diets for over 2,000 years. The main active substance in milk thistle is silymarin. Our extract is standardized to 80% silymarin by spectrophotometry, and has potential in playing a complementary role to other ingredients in Qualia Senolytic, particularly the stressed cell support of curcumin.*

Soybean Seed Extract in Qualia Senolytic. Soybean seeds, like most legumes, contain a type of bioflavonoid called isoflavonoids. Our soybean seed extract is standardized at 40% isoflavones which shows promise as having a complementary role in our overall formulation. Daidzein, for example (an isoflavonoid in our extract) is one of the top four compounds identified as a possible candidate for helping manage some types of senescent cells.*

Astragalus root extract in Qualia Stem Cell.Astragalus membranaceus, or Huang Qi, is a perennial herb native to northeast Asia, flourishing in dry, sandy soils and regions such as mountain thickets and vast grasslands. In Traditional Chinese Medicine it is one of the most important herbs for tonifying Qi and enhancing vitality, and is also renowned for healing and promoting healthy blood circulation. Preclinical studies suggest that Astragalus root aids healing by promoting healthy stem cell proliferation and differentiation.*

Salvia miltiorrhiza extract in Qualia Stem Cell, known as Danshen in Traditional Chinese Medicine, primarily grows in the rich, earthy soils of East Asia’s temperate and subtropical regions along hillsides, moist stream banks, and in cool, shaded forests. Traditionally, Danshen was believed to have an affinity for the heart and was used to promote heart health, blood circulation, and healing. Preclinically, Danshen has been shown to support the healthy differentiation and proliferation of various stem cell types, leading to improved tissue health like heart and liver.*

White peony root extract in Qualia Stem Cell, is a Traditional Chinese Medicine native to central and eastern Asia that grows in a variety of environments, such as glasslands, woodland edges, dry meadows and sunny slopes. Paeoniflorin, a primary bioactive compound extracted from the roots of white peony, is known to maintain a balanced activity of CDC42, which is a crucial mechanism for stem cell rejuvenation. Preclinical studies show that paeoniflorin supports healthy stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, driving tissue regeneration.*

Sodium copper chlorophyllin in Qualia Stem Cell, is derived from chlorophyll, the vibrant green pigment found in plants and algae that plays a crucial role in photosynthesis. L-Serine in Qualia Stem Cell, is an amino acid essential for protein synthesis and plays a vital role in stem cell function and maintenance. It is also required for nucleotide synthesis - the basic building blocks of DNA and RNA - which supports stem cell division, proliferation, and growth.*
